Boston CASA promotes and advocates for the best interests of children involved in abuse and neglect cases in Suffolk County. Boston CASA recruits, trains, and supervises community volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) who work to ensure that these children have safe and permanent homes. A child with a CASA volunteer is more likely to find a safe, permanent home; is half as likely to re-enter the foster care system; and is more likely to succeed in school.
Since becoming an independent nonprofit organization in 2012, Boston CASA has experienced impressive growth and is poised for even greater impact. Boston CASA currently serves more than 160 children in Suffolk County.
