Keyur Patel brings over eight years of experience working in the finance industry, including most recently as an investment professional for Providence Equity. He applies his experience interfacing with executive teams, company boards and strategic advisors to his current efforts in the Not-for-Profit and Social Impact spaces. Under the backdrop of rising income inequality and an increasingly tumultuous social environment, Keyur is passionate about backing organization focused on closing the opportunity gap and addressing causes pertinent to disadvantaged children and families.
Mr. Patel has been with SVP for three years and sat on the investment committees that selected Boston CASA and Enroot as grantees. In addition to serving on the board of Social Venture Partners, Keyur has served on internal committees focused on institutionalizing the organization for its exciting next stage of growth.
Prior to his work with SVP, Keyur served in various leadership roles through the Community Action Network (CAN) where he undertook pro bono consulting engagements focused on closing the opportunity gap in Washtenaw County, Michigan. His time working with CAN included a two-year engagement that aimed to refocus outbound marketing efforts and bolster economic opportunity for businesses in a low-income community that were struggling post the Great Recession.
Keyur holds a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
