Laura Hockett

Laura has spent the last 20 years working within the community as a civic volunteer and non-profit consultant. She has served on the Human Resources Board for the Town of Wellesley, has served on the Town Advisory Committee, was a Trustee of the Wellesley Scholarship Foundation, and was the Co-Chair of the Wellesley Education Foundation. Additionally, she has chaired several successful Ballot Question Committee Campaigns, including a campaign to build a new public high school. Laura is currently on the Board of Trustees at Scripps College (Claremont, CA) serving as Co-Vice Chair. 

Prior to her civic work, Laura worked at Haemonetics Corporation (Braintree, MA) as Surgical Marketing Director and at Neutrogena Corporation (Los Angeles, CA) in the Dermatologics Division.

Laura has been with SVP for 5 years and is currently the Lead Partner for the engagement with Enroot, focusing on developing capacity building tools and business planning.  She has also served as the Lead Partner for SVP Boston’s engagement with Silver Lining Mentoring, focusing on Business Plan development, internal process mapping, and strategic planning. 

Laura received her MBA from Harvard Business School, MS in Pharmacology from the University of Colorado, and BA from Scripps College.  She has three grown daughters and lives in Wellesley with her husband Bob.
